The Lions Youth Exchange Programme was set up to enable young students from Australia to visit a country overseas and likewise for foreign students to visit Australia
Students must be over 16 and under 22 and must undergo a medical examination to qualify for acceptance. An indemnity form must be signed by their parents or guardians.
Students can choose from a range of exciting countries to visit. They are hosted by a Lions Club in that country where they are shown the traditions and culture of that country. It is a worthwhile affordable experience one where lasting memories and friendships are made..
