The Lions Youth of the Year Quest, is one of the largest Lions Youth programmes at both District & Multiple District level. The Quest first commenced in 1966 since then over 3000 young adults each year have participated in the quest.

The aim of the Lions Youth of the Year Quest is to encourage, foster and develop leadership, good citizenship qualities in our youth, They will be judged on their academic attainment, leadership, personality, sportsmanship, public speaking and good citizenship.

The Quest is open to youths under 19 years. Normally a local High School is invited to join the Quest by their local Lions Club.
