Lions Skills Quest
Written by Rob Unsworth
The Lions Quest Skills programme is unique to Lions in Australia, part of the Quest Skills International Programme. This commitment to youth is expressed by training, encouraging and equiping key adults in the lives of children with tools to foster the healthy development of young people. Parent, educators, business and community leaders and other adults who are concerned about our youth are brought together in effective local partnerships where their individual efforts can be complemented and reinforced.
The focus is on helping young people develop essential life and citizenship skills that lead to positive social behaviours
The programmes
- Skills for Growing (5 to 10 year-olds)
- Skills for Adolescence (11 to 14 year-olds)
- Skills for Action (15 to 18 year-olds)
